Games Tester
A games tester test and checks games before they are released for commerical sale. Knowledge required includes development and programming of game software from detailed game concept and specification documentation.
Duites inlcude:
Design and development of game software
Conversion of existing games
Contribution to Game Design & Development meetings as required
Assisting development of software tools or other software which may not relate to key responsibilities
Actively contributing to the improvement of the design and development approach
Attending concept and development meetings when required
Evaluating and assisting games in development where required
Job Requirements
Excellent knowledge of C/C++.Can demonstrate good understanding of Direct X, Direct3D skills beneficial. *OpenGL possible alternative. Keen interest in video/game programming (enjoys programming in spare time) Good communication and problem solving skills. Genuine enthusiasm and passion for games and their development.
