3D- Modeller
3D modeling is the process of developing a mathematical, wireframe representation of any three-dimensional object (either inanimate or living) via specialized software. The product is called a 3D model. It can be displayed as a two-dimensional image through a process called 3D rendering or used in a computer simulation of physical phenomena. The model can also be physically created using 3D Printing devices.
Job Requirements
Design and develop physical and computer-generated 3D models and sculptures for the production of visual effects in television, film, commercials, and interactive media projects. Analyze approved model designs of characters, sets and props for computer graphics-based feature films. Prepare digital, geometric 3D modeling in accordance with documented protocols for model weight, naming conventions, file placement, and materials and rigging specifications, using complex 3D animation software and C++ programming tools.
